2023 IT Service Fees - LF Projects

LF IT fees and services are described broadly in two categories:  collaboration and engineering services.  Most all LF projects take advantage of collaboration services and some larger projects use engineering support services.  Below are general guidelines when estimating project costs and fees at the LF for IT collaboration services:

Note that actual Hosting costs are considered "pass-thru" costs invoiced directly to the project.  Zoom account costs are also pass-thru costs.  These include cloud hosting (e.g. Amazon AWS, Opens Stack Vexxhost, Google, etc.) for the underlying infrastructure costs associated with the delivered service.  The IT department tracks these costs on behalf of the project and negotiates on behalf of all projects for any discounts or credits issued by the vendor. 

Projects are reported as defined in LFX PCC tool. 

At this time LFX platform and services are made available on a limited basis to projects as this service offering evolves.  Future pricing models may change based on the evolution of the LFX platform.

There can also be variable costs in addition to category costs and based on the services consumed by any given project.  We track this information dynamically from the vendor API (pantheon, zoom, groups.io, etc.) and provide that information to the finance team and the PMO as requested:
