Connecting your GitHub and LinkedIn accounts 50% Discount

The Individual Dashboard prompts you to connect your GitHub and LinkedIn accounts to receive a 50% discount coupon for LF training or certification.

However, there are major conditions for this to apply:

1. You must have at least one contribution to an LF open source project in order to qualify. You must show data in the Contributions section of your profile.
2. This is a one-time reward and you can get a maximum of 500 reward points.
3. If you already have 500 reward points applied to your profile or have been previously rewarded 500 points, you will not qualify for this new 500 points.
4. You should complete the following steps in order:
   1. Connect your Github account. You can connect as many Github accounts as you would like but the reward point will be granted only once per an identity.
   2. Populate your work history by connecting your LinkedIn Account.
   3. Successfully completing your project affiliations. The prerequisite is that the you have some code contributions (at least 1) that you can affiliate to some organizations or as Individual.
5. The reward points are awarded to a single LF profile.
6. The coupon for the 50% off is generated as soon as the above conditions are met.
