Note - If the email address you are attempting to add is already associated with another account, you will be prompted to open a 'Merge' request with the support team HERE.  The prompt you will see is that the account already exists.  When you try to reset the password for it, however, it says that the email account doesn't exist.

What is a merge request and what does it do?

A merge request is when you have multiple accounts that you want merged into one LF login.  This can happen for various reason, for example you register for an event with an email that you have not associated with a username.

A merge example:

As an example, you have two email addresses but have only one username:

  1.  Email address:  mo1@yahoo.com
Username:  (no username tied to this email)
  2. Email address:  mo2@yahoo.com
    Username:  mo2username

In the above example, we would merge mo1@yahoo.com into the primary account of mo2@yahoo.com (with the username of mo2username).  After the merge, in the Individual Dashboard (located here), mo1@yahoo.com would be listed as an alternate email on your account.

Stipulations:

Please note that we cannot merge usernames with active training purchases or exams.
