A merge request is when you have multiple accounts that you want merged into one LF login. This sometimes happens when can happen for various reason, for example you register for an event with an email that you have not associated with a username.

A merge example:
As an example, say you have two email address in the system addresses but have only have one username:
- Email address: mo1@yahoo.com
Username: (no username tied to this email) - Email address: mo2@yahoo.com
Username: mo2username
In the above example, we would merge mo1@yahoo.com into the primary account of mo2@yahoo.com (with the username of mo2username). After the merge, in the Individual Dashboard (located here), mo1@yahoo.com would be listed as an alternate email on your account.
